Information You Provide

When you create an account, subscribe to a membership, or interact with our Platform, you may provide:

  • Profile Data: Company name, industry, revenue range, city, bio, LinkedIn URL, professional goals, and profile photo.
  • Payment Information: Billing details processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
  • Communications: Messages sent through community chat, feedback and ratings after dinners, referral codes, and any correspondence with us.
  • Dinner Preferences: RSVP responses, attendance history, dietary preferences, and host applications.

Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Platform, we may automatically collect:

  • Log Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps.
  • Device Information: Device type, screen resolution, and unique device identifiers.
  • Cookies: We use session cookies for authentication purposes only (managed by Supabase). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Information From Other Sources

If you connect your LinkedIn account, we may receive your public profile information including name, headline, and profile URL, in accordance with LinkedIn's terms and your privacy settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and improve the Platform: Provide, maintain, and enhance our services, including account management, membership features, and customer support.
  • Match you with dinner groups: Our AI matching system (powered by xAI/Grok) analyzes your profile, industry, goals, and preferences to curate optimal dinner groups of 8–10 founders.
  • Process payments: Handle membership subscriptions, billing, and refunds through Stripe.
  • Communicate with you: Send dinner invitations, RSVP confirmations, event reminders, post-dinner recaps, newsletters, and important service updates.
  • Facilitate connections: Enable warm introductions, community chat, member directory access, and cross-city passport features.
  • Prevent fraud and enforce policies: Detect and prevent fraudulent activity, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Analyze and improve: Understand usage patterns to improve matching quality, dinner experiences, and overall Platform functionality.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following ways:

  • With other members: Your profile information (name, company, industry, bio) is visible to other dinner attendees and community chat participants. You control what you share in your profile.
  • With dinner hosts: Hosts receive attendee information necessary for dinner coordination, including names, dietary preferences, and company details.
  • With sponsors: We share only aggregated, anonymized data with sponsors (e.g., industry breakdowns, attendance statistics). We never share your individual personal data with sponsors.
  • Service providers: We work with trusted third-party services to operate our Platform:
    • Supabase — Database and authentication
    • Stripe — Payment processing
    • Resend — Transactional email delivery
    • Vercel — Website hosting
    • xAI — AI-powered dinner matching
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Abound Corporation, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

4. Cookies and Tracking

  • We use session cookies only for authentication and session management, managed by Supabase.
  • We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.
  • We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
  • Secure authentication with hashed passwords and httpOnly session cookies.
  • Rate limiting on API endpoints to prevent abuse.
